The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit allows owners of selected Akrapovič exhausts to control the system sound from the vehicle cockpit. Akrapovič technology lets drivers easily switch between a quiet mode and a sportier sound. Using a receiver to operate the actuators that open or close the exhaust valves, drivers can regulate the valves with the Sound Remote Controller.

Use of the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit invalidates the ECE type approval.
